Where did the name Lolly Lolly come from?
Lolly is our founder, Lalese Stamp’s nickname. Lolly was casually dibbed Lalese’s nickname in high school by one of her teachers and the name stuck with her into adulthood. Lolly is used twice in the brand name to indicate a level of playfulness, but we encourage you to use the word Lolly as many times as you deem necessary. Sometimes we use it once in our communications, sometimes we repeat it a million times.
How can I purchase a piece? They always seem to be sold out.
Lolly Lolly Ceramics is a small scale production and design studio that consists of a team of 4 people. Due to the high demand for Lolly pieces, we operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. All restock dates are listed in our Instagram bio and in the form of email alerts. If there is an object that you have your eye one, please sign up for our email notifications so that you are the first to know when the item you desire is back in stock.
HOW MANY PIECES ARE ADDED TO THE INVENTORY FOR EACH RESTOCK?
HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO USE MY LOLLY MUG? IT FEELS SO SPECIAL THAT I DON’T WANT TO DRINK FROM IT.
Lolly Lolly Ceramics are made from materials that are meant to be used as functional dinnerware. We don’t use materials or chemicals that are harmful to consume so we encourage you to use your piece as you would any other pottery. We understand that our objects are unique and precious though and a lot of our customers prefer styling their pieces in their home on bookshelves, coffee tables or display cases, for example. They make for great collectors items and conversation pieces when you have guests over.
DO YOU ONLY OFFER MUGS?
DOES LOLLY LOLLY CERAMICS TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS?
Custom orders entail a design phase, a prototype phase and an execution phase, which might go through more than one trial. At this time we are not accepting custom orders for individual clients. However, we are accepting large group orders that are placed in advance. For example, if you represent a company that wants to order a batch of 25-300 mugs, we’re happy to discuss an appropriate rate for a project of this scale. These items can be made custom with a unique stamp on the bottom of each piece. Email us for questions or request further details at firstname.lastname@example.org
